I am Oleg Kolbasov, a Russian-born, Detroit-raised art director, graphic/motion graphics designer, and illustrator. I appreciate good, intuitive design, flexing within various illustration/graphic styles, incorporating sleek type, and combining all of these elements to make comprehensive, intuitive customer engagements that tilt the head of the most passive bystander. I take all of these considerations plus the human element when directing art, generating eye opening creative the whole team can be proud of. Although I've been a creative since I could hold a crayon, my professional career didn't start until 2012 when I joined the Creative Services Department at Yahoo! Inc. Since then I've worked in several ad agencies, tech companies with budgets big and small, successfully operated and continue to operate a freelance graphic design and illustration business, and molded my personal art, Animal Money (www.animal.money), into a recognizable and respected brand with a growing fanbase.
